Integrated desulfurization and decarbonization systems>>
IMO preliminary strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from ships proposes that the total GHG emissions will be reduced by at least 50% by 2050 compared to 2008, and the carbon intensity of international shipping (the average level of the shipping industry rather than individual ships) will be reduced by at least 40% by 2030 compared to 2008, striving to reduce it by 70% by 2050.
Attained EEDI：The actual EEDI value of individual ships
Required EEDI：The maximum Attained EEDI value allowed for specific ship types and sizes stipulated in Article 21 of Chapter 4 of MARPOL Annex VI: Required EEDI=（1 - X/100）× RLV；
1. The desulfurized exhaust gas enters the scrubber, where the CO2 in the gas is absorbed by the solvent (lean amine solution);
2. The solvent (rich amine solution) that has absorbed CO2 is stored in the rich amine solution tank.
